what will be the next step for improving my tone.
Tubes- I think my tubes are pretty old.
10 Band EQ-
New Speakers- 2 Sheffield's
New 2x12 Cab

or or any other suggestions?
(my fender has a hotrail in it so please don't say get a stacked humbucker)

Well if your tubes are starting to go, then the best thing would be new tubes. Then I would say speakers if yours arent up to par. Then an EQ. Then a new cab. At least thats my order of how things would be in priority.

what are some cheap/er speakers because i don't reall y have the money to spend like 150/piece on celestians

Tungsol 12ax7's are nice. I like JJ's for my poweramp tubes.

I have heard good thing about warehousespeakers.com . And for the price, they might be worth checking out.

Eminence makes great speakers for about half the price of celestions.

I would change those next, it was a really nice tonal improvement when I changed mine.l

warehouse speakers are great i have a cl80 and a v30 clone that sound really nice in a homemade cab that i h ave

warehouse speakers are great, even roccaforte amps has good things to say about them.

You have stock sheffields? Are these the peavey ones? These are peavey's "yuck" speakers, honestly.
