Soo, I've got this Jackson USA Custom Superstrat with a floyd and it's a great guitar. But I can't stand a floyd anymore. I get so angry everytime a string brakes it's unbareable.

So what I need are some suggestions of guitars that remind of this guitar beacuse I love everything on it except the floyd.

Pic for those who might ask about Specs etc.

You cant just change the bridge

Theres holes in the wood that arent nevesary for a fixed bridge so it would look stupid 2bh

And it wold probably cost more money than its worth

I would just get a Trem blocker. Otherwise, look at Ibanez's SA series, or a Jackson Dinkey.

Beacuse I want a String through body or a Tune-o-matic. Won't work on this guitar. And I'll probably have to change the neck aswell and that is probably one of the best necks I've ever played, so no.

Trem blocker prevent it from going out of tune if a string brakes right?

Fender do a bunch of Superstrats with regular tremelos, and they're not overly expensive either (at least, not last time I checked.)

You can simply block it off, actually using blocks.

Like here... http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/blocktremolo.htm

Or you can buy commercial blockers that pretty much do the same thing.

As in here... http://www.tremol-no.com/

edit: Damn... too slow...

Is it a bolt on neck?

yep, that's the only other thing that I don't like with it. Since I have no plans of changing the neck or repaintingt it (atleast not by myself).

I've been thinking about blocking the tremolo for some time, question: I've heard of "half-blocking" it. Which makes it non-floating, would this prevent it from going out of tune? Beacuse if it does then I'll just do that.
