I am building a Jazz bass and need to locate my Badass II bridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Scale length distance from the nut. If you didn't know that, then you shouldn't be building a bass.

Agreed. I didn't know how to measure where the bridge should go until I asked here.

meh, Drew was doing the kid a favor. A build is not for pussies.
If the kid can stand up to Drew on his own, he might have what it takes to get through a build.

You don't always need to re-invent the wheel.

1 - Measure from nut to 12th fret on a Jazz bass,
make sure it's the same length as on the neck you're using.

2 - Measure from nut to the saddles of each of the strings of the Jazz bass.
(on the heavier strings, the saddles will be farther from the nut)

3 - Locate the bridge so the saddles will be able to accommodate those lengths.
