Redemption Song by Bob Marley
'Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; none but ourselves can free our minds'

You cant get much more trancendental than that.

edit: Within you Without You by the Beatles is also a perfect example

The song "Old Familiar Way" by of Montreal.

Neither the flowers on the hill
or the moonlight on the sea
Have ever looked so blue
And everything looks new again
In that old familiar way

The view from my room
of the ships on the bay
Had come to bore me through and through
But they suddenly seem new again
In that old familiar way

The delicate ballet of blossoms falling off a tree
Had long gone unnoticed by me
I'm stunned by what now I finally see
It's amazing the wonders you can find
Just by stepping outside

There's a skip in my step a divine state of joy
In everything I do
Cause I am feeling new again
In that old familiar way

When I'm awoken from my dreams
by a cuckoo on the roof
I always join in too
And every sound sounds new again
In that old familiar way

The life I used to know
when I was busy always on the go
Left me with nothing to show
Now I feel that I can honestly say
I'm living a suitable life
I'm glad I finally got it right

oh i did this for english a few weeks ago

try At the Bottom of Everything by Bright Eyes , especially w/ thoreau

We must talk in every telephone, get eaten off the web
We must rip out all the epilogues from the books we have read
And to the face of every criminal strapped firmly to a chair
We must stare, we must stare, we must stare.

We must take all of the medicines too expensive now to sell
Set fire to the preacher who is promising us hell
And in the ear of every anarchist that sleeps but doesn't dream
We must sing, we must sing, we must sing.

And it'll go like this, alright
While my mother waters plants my father loads his gun.
He says, "Death will give us back to God,
just like the setting sun
is returned to the lonesome ocean."

And then they splashed into the deep blue sea.
(Oh,)It was a wonderful splash.

We must blend into the choir, sing as static with the whole,
We must memorize nine numbers and deny we have a soul,
And to this endless race for property and privilege to be won
We must run, we must run, we must run.

We must hang up in the belfry where the bats in moonlight laugh
We must stare into a crystal ball and only see the past
And (in)to the caverns of tomorrow with just our flashlights and our love
We must plunge, we must plunge, we must plunge.

And then we'll get down there,
way down to the very bottom of everything
and then we'll see it, oh we'll see it, we'll see it, we'll see it.

Oh my morning's coming back
The whole world's waking up
Oh the city bus is swimming past.
I'm happy just because
I found out I am really no one.

Franz Liszt has a very famous and extremely difficult set of Transcendental etudes if that helps.

hey where are you from? cuz I did that exact thing in my class

I will give you the songs I used for my power point
but if you go to the same school as me don't use my ****

Nonconformity- War by System of a Down
Self Reliance- Scar Tissue by Red hot Chili Peppers
Free thought- A Doubt by John Frusciante
Confidence- Fight Like a Brave by RHCP
Importance of Nature- Time tonight by John Frusciante

but I used a really limited selection for songs
And we will weave in and out of sanity unnoticed
Swirling in blissfully restless visions of all our bleary progress
Glowing in radiant madness
