I was wondering, between the Boss RC20 and the Akai Head Rush, which is better for live use. I have a Boss DD6, but when I use the 'Hold' function there's a slight pause when it loops, also it's only around 5 seconds long. I've been wanting to sort of recreate the multiple parts that Jimmy Page would do in some of Zeppelin's stuff, like 'Bring it on Home' or what have you.
Thanks.
Haven't you heard?

Akai Headrush. It is an incredible pedal, and is so easy to use. It can store tons of loops too. Here is a FINE example of it in use. Simply amazing performance.

Pro Akai-
-Easy to use. Two stomps, one to start recording the other to play it. Then to overdub onto that loop just hit the record button again, and when you are done hit the play.
-Can hold tons of long loops
-Also is a delay/analog delay pedal
-Has fine/coarse time/delay adjustments
Con-
-Hmmm, have not yet found one.

great delay pedal with a awesome loop function with like 30 seconds or so to record on!

i have a memory lane. i dun need a DMM

and the akai you can overdub your own loops, which is sick. I'm just mad that its not a plain looper, cuz i dont wanna spend extra cash on the delay functions.
