Please refer to the quote in my sig.

Also, price range? Since you're looking at a MG, may I assume it's not very high?
That makes things complicated. Good high gain amps are expensive. Or get a 5150/6505.

Get a PEavey 5150/6505 or a Peavey XXX instead. WAY BETTER

And you don't need a stack.

Don't think that you need a Stack to Be Loud...... There are quite a few combo amps out there that are ridiculously loud.. AND some of them come with speaker outs so you can add a speaker cabinet later if you want..

I was actually able to get a death metal tone out of a crate flexwave and a few pedals and eqs. I know how hard it is when you feel like every amp there is is designed for metal, and your looking for that one amp that sounds sooo badass and soo deathmetal.

In one word, no

In two words, hell no.

An MG wont do any type of music, let alone death metal.

What is your max budget and can you go used?

apparientally someone missed that one

and the only "death metal" a MG can do is if you beat someone to death with it

No... just no. Please, for the love of God, no. Even the people in my local music shop who pretty much stock MGs exclusively say they're shit.

Randall RG50TC all the way. Sure, it may not look as AW3SUM!!!11, but your tone will be. Trust me.

You could, concievably, but you'd get a far better tone from a less awful sounding used tube combo or half stack, or even a different similarily priced new SS combo or half stack.

I'd say a Peavey 5150 or 6505 would be your best bet.

Me too, I want to buy an Mg. Don't try to talk me out of it by telling me how bad it is either. Give everyone a break, already. If you are serious, use the search button, if you are not, use the get a life button.
