Hey guys i have been searching for an acoustic guitar for a while. I heard that takamine and taylor acoustics are good. But, not sure on which models.

Any suggestions? please.

pretty much all taylors are great for a more modern sound. if you like to play a lot of jazzy stuff i would say taylors are the way to go.

ibanez acoustics are good as well for a lower price

Well depends on how much you want to spend, and electric or not, but for what it's worth...

My Dean Performer Key Largo sounds amazing plugged/unplugged and is the best looking acoustic I've seen.

i'm looking for an acoustic not an electro-acoustic. I play mostly blues and the amount of money i am willing to spend is up to £300.

Forget about getting a Taylor in your price range, as there are better values. A lot of Takamines are acoustic/electric, so they might be out as well. Here are some other brands that you might want to try out:

If at all possible, play as many as you can and pick the best one.
