is there any way to build a small portable tube amp? cause it would be awesome

Its worth it to note though, it is not very practical to build a portable tube amp due to weight, size, and the large amount of energy one requires.

what are you talking about? what would be the difference in buying a on the market tube amp like a bogner and carrying it around, versus building one? SS amps use just as much power as tubes do anyways, if were talking about voltage consumption

No, they don't. Tube amps require many more watts of power; a 5 watt tube amp needs around 35, which is almost as much as a 15 watt Solid State needs (they average around 38). You would need a lot of batteries for that, and it would weigh a lot. Voltage is irrelevant.
