MS Works Word Processor has some resume/CV templates, that's basically got all the information you need to put.

As in interviews, try to promote yourself, don't mention your bad qualities and make sure you get the wording right. Instead of saying "I'm quite shy" say "I'm quiet and keep myself to myself."

the number one tip i learnt was to back up all the good qualities you list with proof e.g i can work well in a team, i proved this by working with 3 others to complete a presentation for university work etc

its not the answer to your qeustion but it should help you

Use google, to be honest, if you don't know how to do things like this on your own already, you shouldn't be applying anywhere.

Like this:

Try copying that until you get into the swing of it.

keep the info basic ie your address, education (school) colage, uni, exam results ,work history, (last job first) any dates on the dole say activley seeking work.keep C V to a minimum no longer than two pages oh and if you can show hobbies (not night clubbing or love socialising at the local) at interview speek slowly as not to speed your speach do not slag off any one. dress smartly,do not arrive late always arrive early be curtious to all staff that speak to you do not smoke or drink to steady your nerves before hand. try not to "dry up" on questions asked of you. have a basic knowlege of the company you wish to join.

good luck from the 51 year old fart.

Use the Resume Wizard on Microsoft Word.

Include an objective (which would be to secure a position at whatever job you're applying for), work experience, education, special skills you have that could be useful for the job, any special awards or recognitions you've recieved, and a few references.

That's what I usually put in mine, anyway.

You need: Name, address, phone number, education experience- if you're just in high school, put where you're going, what grade you are, and your GPA, if you're in college put where you're going, what you're studying and your GPA. Extra-curricular activities, especially if they put you in a leadership position (captain of a sports team, president of a club, etc.), honors and awards you may have gotten (not like any little thing, but if you've gotten anything relatively prestigious, definitely put that on there. And especially past work experience- where you worked, the position you held, the dates you worked there, what job you did.

I was kind of under the assumption that you don't have much work experience and you're just out of school. (That's not a bad thing necessarily, but if you have a lot of work experience, cut down on the school related things)

It really sounded like you were applying for a real job. Do they even need a resume? Are you sure they just don't have an application?
