Well, I've been playing self taught for about 4 years.

Lately I've noticed, I can cover hard neoclassical songs, and play at decent speeds, but I understand NO MUSIC THEORY.

And I would like to start learning.

I wondering if anyone can give me some starting points.

Links would be appreciated, also just telling me what to learn.

read all of the Crusade articles that are being posted under the guest columns. They cover theory and are very easy to understand. Well written and very informative.

here's the link to the list of Crusades...

Read the whole series on the front page call The Crusade it explains music theroy really well and relates it to guitar. I took a music class in college and it went over the same stuff covered in these articles, but it made it much easier to see how it works when applied to guitar. Don't read them all at once though, you'll be throughly over whelmed, take it day to day and try out what you learn from each article.
