So becuase the business is real slow these days, I am a wee bit behind on my payments. Now i am forced to sell my #1 player. She is a 57 custom gibson les paul. When i bought her, i tired about 10 - 15 les pauls before i chose this one. This one had something real speical about it. It had an amazing sustain, crystal clear tones and amazing feel.

i played her exclusively for about 2 years.
Now she will be departing from me very soon..

And are you sure there's absolutely nothing else you can do other than selling the guitar?

If something is that special to you, that usually can't be replaced. Might find the same model, but rarely is it ever the same.

Make sure you're looked at all your options before really selling it. I myself have a few things I know I'll get rid of before resorting to selling my absolute favorites.

I'd sell everything else I owned before starting to sell my gear.

Of course I would sell my tv, stove, bed, car but my wife would kill me.

Guitar goes or she does.

Hmmm.

Your parents or grandparents still around? Any loving relatives at all???

I would try so hard to get them to help you with your bills instead of selling your fav guitar man.....

I'm sure there is someone that can help you out.

that's damn sad. I'm not a big LP fan, but I feel your pain. It's getting to the point where I might have to sell my tiny terror to pay for gas so I can drive myself to damn school
I'd probably grab a palomino v16 or a fender blues jr though.

such a beautiful LP
dont sell it, there must be something you can sell before you need to sell your guitar, how about your amp? and then just buy a bad 15 watt one until you can get back to making more money
just dont sell it....male prostitution?

I have a question about your guitar. My father owns the exact same one. But instead, his reissue has the old tulip tuners instead of Grovers. He got it new almost a year ago. Would you know why this is? I am just curious.
Be cool.

starting 07 or mid 06, gibson changed the tuners from gold grovers to kulsons.

i have no idea why but i like grovers.
