Generally a guitarish like tone.

There's a few things that factor into that.

Isn't it supposed to sound like a guitar? Or are you aiming for something else, like a violin? trumpet? flute?

'Cause your not gonna get those type of tones when you have an electric guitar.

If you're posting because you're considering trying the pedal, then just go to GC and try it. I don't think you'll really need it.

ill let you know on wednesday when mine gets here. but i would think it would sound quite nice. cranked tube amp + a nice overdrive should be good tone. ive heard that the blackheart sounds kinda marshally, so thats something to keep in mind if you want to know what it sounds like.

i heard that they were really really hi gain amps

doesnt even have a gain knob. its just going to get gain when you turn it up, but i dont think its going to be that high gain.

I just tried one out an hour or so ago (1x12 combo). It's nice but not really any gain or anything. Pretty much just clean.
I got a Grainger/Valve Junior though :P

I have a ts808 and it warms up your tone alot, and the black heart reallly needs it i find the tone on it very dull.
