What set of GFS strat pickups would get me the best tone for John Mayer/Clapton/SRV type tone. Great cleans would be awesome.

-My strat is a Fender MIM
- Playing through: Boss Blues driver--Boss Super overdrive--EHX Holy Grail--Epiphone valve Junior Head and Cab

Thanks for the help!!

two words - ****e sandwich

Don't let their used car salesman lingo fool you. All they are is hype-marketed Asian pickups that people would change if they came in their Asian guitar.

I think the John Mayer guitar has Texas Specials, not sure though. Check the Fender site.

MUCH BETTER OFF.

And the John Mayer SIg has Custom Big Dipper pickups.

But i've heard Texas Specials give out a FAT Mayer Tone.
