Ive read through some threads that talk about scales and i cant really find that one scale u know the one im talkin about. ive grown extremely bored with the C major (natural scale) ive just started on learning the major blues scale which might keep me occupied for a month or so but i wana know what kinda scales are fun to improvise solo to and what scales sound best with certain genres. any suggestions for what scales might hit the spot?

1.Find out what artists in the "specific genre" you want to play in you like
2. Look at transcriptions/transcribe their songs
3. Figure out what key and scale they're using
4. ???
