I want a delay for some standard shreddy sounds (think Paul Gilbert-ish) but I want to be able to get some warped wierd sounds as well. So, which delay would be best for this?

Get the DD-6 or the DD-20. They have tap tempo, while I'm pretty sure the DD-3 doesn't.

The boss ones have more options. I just bought a memory man and I love it. I have compared a lot of delays and I think the memory man beats them all in terms of a quality sounding delay effect. The MM is pricey and lacks some features, that can usually tell you something about the quality of the main feature, the delay.

The Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai sounds good for you.

Tap tempo and lots of different options.
It even has a looper.

It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.
