Ok, So I am upgrading a guitar I have. I have a Washburn N2 as well as my N4. What can I say I loved the guitars handling. The necks are on par with an Ibanez wizard and the handle every bit as smooth, better than some. Anyway, I like the N2 but want to expand it's capabilities. It currently has a 3 way selector and one volume pot. It's a Push/pull wired to split coil. My plan is to drill and add a second pot. The setup will consist of getting rid of the push/pull pot and add a stacked concentric v/t pot wired as main, but the neck PU wired through the secondary pot using a fender no load tone pot for that extra punch on the leads.
Anyone else like toying with their wiring to see what they can create for sound?
