i think they do, but be prepared to get much less than what you think you should get...like if you bought it for about $400, they'll prolly give you like 100 bucks for it

i think you get more out of your bass if you sell it for credit and not cash.
so if your planning on spending your sales in guitar center, go ahead and do it for credit
Jackson DXMG -> Vai Morley Wah -> Korg Black Tuner -> (Need a delay) -> Maxon OD808 -> BBE Sonic Maximizer -> ISP Noisegate -> Mesa Boogie Mark IV

With $350 + whatever you're going to get from the gsr, you aren't going to be able to buy all that. The squier will set you back 250 on it's own. The sonic maximiser is $100. That's your budget without the gsr sale already, You'll probably get $75 for the gsr (not worth it IMO). The quarter pounder will probably set you back around that much, and the BAII will cost about $70.

using internet lingo (gsr, BAII, IMO) will probably just confuse the TS, as it's obvious that english isnt his/her first language.

sadly i need to buy the QP and the sonic maximiser because they are expensive in my country
the QP is around 90$(if you are lucky) ,120($regular day)
and the sonic maximiser is not anywhere in my country
the same thing with the BAII

He owns a GSR bass, and is looking at a BadAss bridge. I think it's safe to say he'd know what they are.

Then don't buy the squier. Buy the other stuff and save up for a squier to buy at a later time. You have two basses you can cope with till then.

not bad idea
but the squier VM are rare around here
i have only seen one store have one(and just 1 in stock)
most stores sell ibanez
some sell esp/ltd
ans a few sell squiers(mainly affinity series and fakes basses(p bass that says stratocaster))
also a few sells epiphone
and only one have fenders
and gibson are extremly rare

EDIT i forgot to say the VM is around 330$
