I just got a Jackson RR3, any tips on maintaining and such? Oh yeah, and this is my first relatively high end guitar, plus it has a tremolo, which I have NO experience with.

Nice Buy! Anyways...

Put it in a case or on a stand out of the way when you aren't playing it. A case is preferred, it won't get knocked over or dusty if it sits for a while.

Other then that...don't run it into a wall or hit your cat with it.

Yeah, in your hands or in your case is where it should always be. Also, when I got my RR, I noticed that I had to be careful of the top wing when I turned near a wall or something (cause it goes under my arm and behind my back). And nice choice on the guitar.

Don't freak out and buy one right away. As long as you have somewhere to put it where it won't get destroyed you should be ok. I still don't have a case for my dxmgt or my sg, but the sg stays on a stand and the dxmgt is all ready beat to hell from too much metal. :p

Alright, I just got it yesterday, so I should be able to get one soon regardless. I nearly passed out when I saw this thing on a stand when I came home!
