So im re-adjusting the springs in my new Jackson after lubing it, and the pliers slip off the spring, hit the top edge of the route, leaving a small, but noticeable dent/chip in the black finish.

I was thinking sharpie+nail polish might cover it up.Normally i wouldn't be worried, but this is a new guitar, and still under the 30 day warranty, in case any problems arise i want to be able to take it back without hassle.

any tips?
yeah the sharpie is good you might wanna fill the dent in with a little dab of super glue flatten it out then sharpie it then polish the whole guitar so it doesnt feel really weird if he runs his hand over the spot.
