This is a song that I have just finished last night. Before you say, yes it does need lyrics and vocals. I have almost finished writing lyrics, but there is no way I am singing them. I've tried, and my voice does not fit at all. If anyone has a good metal voice, and is interested, PM me.

It's in my profile, called Metal #2.

Leave a link and i'll take a look at yours if you wish.

Very cool jam you have there. Are you thinking of putting any vocals on your stuff? It sounds like it needs vocals to take it somewhere.

I love the guitar tone... its very gritty and sounds tough.

Your Metal #1 is good, too.
All my photobucket pics are dead so no links to my guitar build threads.

Pretty cool song, nice energy to it. Normally I don't go for very fuzzy tones, but that works with the song. Good tight playing as well. Hurry up with the vox!

The right/left panned solos were pretty cool.

Thanks for the comments guys. Also, one thing I was worried about is the drums. With the last song a lot of people commented how they were out of time and sounded cheesy. I did all I could on this song to improve sound quality and syncing with the guitars.. Did they sound okay?

I'll go take a look at all yours now.

Really really good....reminded inexplicably of Master of Puppets....The first riff is practically exactly like the spider riff, yet original in it's own right.

Don't get me started on the solo. You can probably put the on top of each other and not tell the difference. The drums too. Listen to both well and you'll see. Keep trying. Very good.

Btw are you recording directly from the processor, I mean, through USB. It's the cause for the fuzzy tone.

hey that was pretty cool man, only problems i found with it is that the main riff got a little repetive, but i think that would be sorted with vocals, and at the begining its sounds as tho you go slighly out of sync with the double bass but u get back on track quickly.

i liked the drums as a whole tho they sounded pretty realistic to me.

Really? I mean, yeah I love MoP, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Slayer and Pantera. I honestly haven't listened to MoP for a long time, but I listened through and I suppose it is kind of similar.

And, yeah, I'm using a Behringer UCA202, so that expalins the fuzzyness. I didn't intend for it to be fuzzy, just came out like that.

Thanks for comments.

That was pretty good, man; reminds me a lot of the kinda stuff I used to play early on. The drums sounded good too, and the rhythm guitars were pretty tight with them for the most part. The leads also had a nice metal vibe to them, though I'd probably extend that section; maybe put it one last part with the two guitars harmonized or another trade-off. It might also help to break things up by modulating the riff you're soloing over to another key and then returning to the original again.

Good work! There's a BT improv solo of mine below...

I like that dunno about the tone or is it meant to be like that? :P

Reminds me of something out of command and counquer: red alert soundtrack some of the riffs :P good thing!

very metalzzz

Pretty sweet music, guitar tone is a bit.. Meh? Haha, there's not much definition there, but I can hear the notes, which is enough really.

But like I said, musically it's very good. Some intense riffs in there. ****ing **** hot solo aswell!
Nicely done.

Nice playing, considering you started only 2 years ago. This mix is kind of weak but not bad, there definitely needs to be more bass drum. The guitars, to me, sound too fuzzy, but that might just be me. You've written in the style of your influences very well, even though it's not my favorite type of metal. Thanks for the crit, too.

So your like 15 and been playing for two years? Im also not really into that particualr music but kudos dude for some really great playing. The tone was weak and fuzzy but the solo rocked.

I thought the mix was pretty good if not overcooked a tad. I know some kids around here that are 16 and 17 that shred like no other. You have that potential for sure just keep on practicing!!!
If you check my profile song please leave a comment on any part.....THANKS!!!
