ok so ive switched from 11 to 13 guage strings and ive noticed that the action on my strings is a bit high on the 12th-22nd frets (especialy on the lower strings) i looked at the neck and it seems a bit bent foward but im pretty sure its the same as it was when my 11 guages were on there. so im wondering if this is a truss rod adjustment fix, or do i have to fiddle with the bridge a little so the action on the lower frets goes down.

Truss rod. The heavier the string gauge, the more tension there is on the neck, and the less relief you need from the truss rod. so, get it tightened.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
