I'd like to adjust the intonation on one of my guitars (Ibanez SC) but am running into an issue. With the makority of the strings, the open note will be perfectly in tune, and the fretted note an octave higher (12th fret) will be a little sharp. The problem I have is that I have already moved the saddle pieces (surely not their official name) back as far as possible. I've set the neck to be ever so slightly concave, and the action is fairly low, but not low enough to cause a lot of buzz. Any ideas?
I have run into this problem too. I just lived with it, but I would like to find a solution too.
Same for me.
move back to where nut or bridge
is it a TOM bridge? if so flip the saddle to point away from the headstock if it's not already pointed that way.
