I'm talking about notes written on a staff, not tabs or chords. I can read music, but I find that not a lot of guitarists can. Do you read music?

I wish...i've never been around any music education that took interests too me. I may get to it one of these days but I sometimes prefer figuring things out and writing my own, but not that i DON'T want to learn

Yes, as a clarinet player I do indeedy. I occasionally read music for guitar but I mostly use tab. Makes life easier

same for me! i can a little bit on guitar but only the real basic stuff i could never play a song thats written on a staff for guitar but i would like too get the hang of it one day

No I can't. I don't think I ever will. I know some chords and scales and that's it. I would most likely understand them better if I could read music.
