OKay, I have no idea how I came up with this. but. What, in your opinion is the best fight scene out of any movie?

Mine would have to be Hector and achilles in troy.

Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris

You know a music scene is fucked up when it becomes difficult to keep track of who killed who, who committed suicide and who alledgedly engaged in cannibalism.

I liked ALL the fight scenes in Jet Li's unleashed. His movies are usually packed full of great martial arts. Especially Fearless.

Fearless is epic.

Neo vs All the Smiths in The Matrix Reloaded.

As far as actual fight scenes, Tony Jaa vs the Capoiera guy in The Protector was awesome.

- Tony Jaa in the "Bonebreakingpalooza" scene of The Protector.

I've always thought the "Absolution" by The Academy Is... would be an awesome intro to a fight scene.

Hmmm...

One of the following:

Obi Wan Kenobi vs. Anakin Skywalker
Aragorn vs. Lurtz (Uruk Hai at the end of FOTR)
Hector vs. Achillies
Not really a fight, but D-Day from Saving Private Ryan was awesome
ALL of Black Hawk Down
The big fight at the end of Lethal Weapon
And Finally, the big gunfight at the end of Scarface

"Say hello to my little friend!!"
Al Pacino is a bad ass.

EDIT: What the f*ck is wrong with us?!? How could we forget 300??!?!
The first battle in 300, where you see Leonidas charge out with his spear and shield is one of the most epic things I've ever witnessed.

He's right, though. I've been to a Rush concert, for fuck's sake.

He's also right that Darth Maul Vs. Obi-Wan and Qui-gon is a very good fight scene.

EDIT: Upon further insight, the whole climax of The Order Of The Pheonix was cool as hell.

Now that I think about it, all of the protector was awesome. Especially the part that Brandon mentioned where Tony Jaa breaks like 40 guys' bones.

Tony Jaa in the protector (bone breaking part as mentioned above) and ong-bak (fighting club part) also the bride versus the crazy 88 in kill bill vol 1.

I definately agree with Mickey's final fight in snatch. Of course I found his other fights extremely satisfying too, even though short they were.
And as far as fight club goes i'd say the part where Tyler gets his ass kicked by the owner guy and goes crazy is awesome.

-Ninjas attacking in last samurai (one of the only movies i've ever seen actually pull off ninjas)
-Gladiator when Crowe goes through the line of guys.
-Lord of the rings at helms deep (i don't care how nerdy it is, with all those orcs pounding and yelling, I got chills down my back)
-Owen Wilson and Charlie Sheen in The Big Bounce...

Truth is there isn't just one best fight scene out of all the movies. There's tons.

Damn right. That 4 minute long one take shot on steadicam of him fighting up the stairs was amazing. Guarantee who ever ****ed up a rtake would get a beat down by the cast and crew.

The part in The Protector where he breaks all the arms is just stupid. One or two is fine, but just doing that gets old quick and becomes lame. Pretty much any Bruce Lee film has a great choreographed fight. My favorite would have to be Game of Death and just the multiple types of fights.

All in all I was highly disappointed by Order of the Phoenix and that fight wasn't all that great. The movie could have been much better and so could have the fight. It might because I read the books and I expect a full and great transition from book to movie

just to clarify, im not trying talk smack, im just saying, out of all the fight scenes you can think of, you go with one from harry potter??? dude was right about 300 but then at the same time, that movie is such a hardcore dramatic fightscene, like all the way through, it kind of loses its meaning. heres some which i think people are forgetting!

Jet Li vs Jet Li (The One)
Neo vs Agent Smith
Master Splinter vs The Shredder
Marky Mark vs That black Dude (Four Brothers)
Daniel Craig vs those african dudes (Casino Royal)

I thought it was hilarious cause he breaks like 100 guys arms all up and down that building, yeah its a real horrible and chessy movie but the fight scene where definatly worth watching

The part in "Old Boy" when he went through an alleyway full of thugs, though he had a hammer of some sort, it was still pretty awesome
#34
Don't get me wrong I loved the movie, but as someone who loves martial arts, karate, etcetera that part makes me shake my head in disappointment. It is his stunts that he does without lines or fill ins or anythings that amaze me.

Anything from Road House.
Anything from Shoot 'Em Up with Clive Owen.
First Blood II, where Rambo fights the big ****er.
Enter The Dragon, where Bruce Lee jumps on the guy's ribcage.
The final fight in Highlander.
