FIRST OF ALL!

Please let me apologize in advance since I know this has been asked doznes of times but I am actually in a bind and I really do not know what to get. I am really picky in what I want and if possible I want to pointed in the right direction in my purchase.

I have compiled a list at the end of this post, so please use constructive criticism if the guitar sucks or not.

Ok anyways, I have been playing my ebay strat copy long enough damn it!

I cannot believe I have been playing that junk for almost 1.5 years now. Are you surprised I lasted that long? Well I am too.

So now I need some advice. I have been reading a lot of reviews on a lot of guitars and I just cannot decide.

I was originally thinking of a Dean Vendetta but I noticed A LOT of people have been riding on particular guitar and I do not want to jump in with them.

I need something more unique (Well to me anyways) and something that is not a copy.

I have about $250 - $300 on a new guitar. I could shell out more but I am within a fixed budget. Plus I am a cheap, lowballing *****

Here is what I am thinking of purchasing:

****
Jackson JS30KV King V:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jackson-JS30KV-King-V-Electric-Guitar?sku=511563

Peavey Predator Plus EXP:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-Predator-Plus-EXP-Guitar?sku=511368

Dean Dave Mustaine V VMNTX: ( I am a bit skeptical on this one)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Dean-Dave-Mustaine-V-VMNTX-Signature-Electric-Guitar?sku=515169

Dean ML XM:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Dean-ML-XM-Electric-Guitar?sku=512151

ESP MH-50:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-MH50-Electric-Guitar-with-Tremolo?sku=516688

Ibanez RG2EX1:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-RE2EX1-Electric-Guitar?sku=519783

So which ones would you pick if you had the choice? I just need another opinion.

Thanks!

Dont pick the Peavey,
and I don't care much for Deans

Personally, I would go for the Ibanez, but thats my particular taste
Thin neck and easy to play fast
but if you want a more death metal tone
Maybe the Jackson
Although I dont find flying vs very comfortable
The ESP not too bad
But like I said, I would much rather pick the Ibanez

Jackson and Dean are both companies that have suffered a major slump in build quality recently.
the Peavey is a good guitar, but it doesn't offer much versatility, but its great value for money.
the ESP looks fantastic, i would say thats your best bet.
but as i'm an Ibanez guy, i gotta say the RG would be damn tasty aswell.

...but i'd get the ESP

i used to have a Dean Vendetta, i liked it, but out of youre list the only one I've ever played is the Peavey Predator Plus EXP, its alright, if youre picky on youre guitar i wouldnt suggest that one until you played around with it first, it wasnt the greatest guitar =/

You should get either the dean dave mustain or the ibanez..Ibanez rg2ex1 is light and very good the neck on it is very smooth and nice feeling.

Say what?! Dunno about Dean but Jackson makes some seriously good gear. Even their low end models are very well-made.

The Jackson is a great bet, my friend has one and he changed the pickups and it sounds great. Id also look at this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-MH103-Quilted-Maple-Electric-Guitar?sku=514872

Stay away from the ibanez, Ibanez RGs are **** if you ask me.

+1

The Ibanez feels a bit cheap to me, but they are good guitars. Basically, try a wizard II neck first, if you don't like it then go for the dean it has a similar neck to the strat.
