It starts with a T, but I'm not sure what it's called, it's more of the study of nature by a transcdentalist

It starts with a B. It's called Biology.

-1
biology is the study of organisms and their processes
Phenology is the word you want to use, I believe

It's more like human nature and our thoughts and stuff
It starts with a T and it reminds me of Transcendentalism alot

What EXACTLY do you mean by nature? I searched Google for "study of nature" and I got phenology as a result. Is that it?

Teleology holds that there is inherent purpose to human existence. This purpose may arise from the inherent nature of humanity itself (what a human is "supposed to be," as in the case of objectivist philosophy), from mankind's relationship to the divine (what God wants humanity to be, as in the case of religion), or from both (as when the divine commands are seen as being in accord with the inherent nature of humanity and humanity's best interests).

Biology is correct, just not specific enough. Biology is the study of life (which, from recent studies, does include nature!), but has an incredible amount of subcategories. As for study of nature... topology(sp?) mayby? I've heard that term used before, but I'm not 100% sure it was used as "study of nature".

edit: never mind on the topography, thats study of natural and man-features.

Sure you're not thinking of thomist? It's a poem by ernest and it starts with a t. All the pieces in the puzzle finally come together.

Edit: Ah damn you all! - I was looking for the answer for too long

yes, I was slightly pissed at the way he disgarded my Biology suggestion and told me I meant Phenology when I didn't. But I left it cus it's not thread related.
