Just out of curiousity is there a constant sound difference between a single cut guitar anda double cut guitar. I mean a differnece you could more or less expect with a few excpetions

Single cuts are much better looking, but thanks about the sound

the cutaways? theoretically the single cutaway guitars should have more sustain since more guitar mass translates to greater sustain, like the tele over the strat... although this case might be exaggerated since the strat is more hollowed out on the inside as well.

That would make sense. Les Pauls are single cut and have super sustain.

the fact that strats have a trem translates into less sustain as well.
