OK people can you suggest some easyish covers for my band and I to learn. We like mostly hard rock but play some other random stuff aswell.

Here are some of the songs we currently cover:
Breaking The Law - Judas Priest
Buck Rogers - Feeder
Just A Day - Feeder
Dance Commander - Electric 6
Gaybar - Electric 6
Given Up - Linkin Park
Go With The Flow - Q.O.T.S.A.
Little Sister - Q.O.T.S.A.
Hate To Say I Told You So - The Hives
Inside - Stiltskin
Killing In The Name - Rage Against The Machine
Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo - The Bloodhound Gang
Ralph Wiggum - The Bloodhound Gang
Set Me Free - Velvet Revolver
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Song 2 - Blur
Town Called Hypocrisy - Lost Prophets

As you can see nothing too complicated as we haven't been playing that long.

STIPULATIONS:
1. Nothing with a ridiculous guitar solo in it.
2. Nothing with double bass pedal drums.
3. Preferably no punk as I don't like it.

We have two guitarists, and we don't mind classic rock so long as it's cool.

Thanks for any help.

Needs original songs.

And don't do more than one song by the same band, you'll just look like wannabes.

Write your own tunes...covers are fun, but it is much more satisfying to preform a song that you poured you blood, sweat and tears into
#17
You do a song called "gaybar"??

Yes by electric six. You're in America so maybe you are unlikely to have heard of it as i'm not sure of their popularity outside europe.

Thanks for the reply, but I am not looking for opinions on whether or not we should write our own songs (which we are doing btw). I am asking for suggestions for rock covers we can do.

Which is odd, considering they're from America.

Gay Bar is a brilliant song though.
