Hi all.
I'm looking for a new bass guitar and bass amp to complete a new set-up.
I'm looking for quality sound but not too sure of good combinations.
Thats why this has been posted =)
Bass Guitar can retail up to the 500-600 pound mark.
Amps can range from 200-300 (doesn't have to be massive wattage, 50 will do good)
Any suggestions more than welcome.
Thanks.

50 watts? Do you even realize how little that is in the bass world?

If I were you, I'd switch around your budgets!

I take it you're not gigging or in a band at all?

If not, then I'd suggest this:

Coupled with this:

If you don't like that, then you usally can't go wrong with a MIA Fender Jazz which i think are around that price range.

If you're in a band however, you need much more wattage, and you should spend more on the amp than the bass.

Ahh the warwicks are going for 200-300 on ebay...mint cond. lol

Yeah, you need multiple times the guitarist's wattage. Bass amps need far more headroom.

As a side note, MIA Fenders are far more than £600.

And those will note be Warwicks, they will be Rockbass, which is the budget line. Rockbass is to Warwick as Squire is to Fender.

Plus, use the edit button. Multiple posts are frowned upon.

Sorry about the multiple posting.
With regards to the rockbass waricks, this isnt the case, these are the standard warwick corvettes.
