A friend of mine has just bought his first decent guitar, the EPI custom les paul, and it has come with the ****ty EPI hambuckers. He wants to play punk rock, a sound similar to Bad Religion. I think Seymour Duncan hambuckers would fit him well. Is there any specific hambuckers to tell him, or do I just tell him to get any Seymour Duncan?
Thank you

They have hambucker pickups now?

edit: I heard Mike Ness uses P90s.

haha

Sorry TS, but that was awesome.

Now, what amp does he have cause if it sucks it won't help his tone one bit?

He has to buy also a decent practice amp, but don't worry about that, I'll make sure he finds something with good tone for 250-300 euros

Ok, well make sure he's happy with the amp and then decide if he really needs the pickup change. He could easily put that money towards his amp and get a really good tone out of it.
