I've got a Crate GT212. And I've had it for around a year now. But the Reverb channel has always been a pain in the ass. Even on low levels, as soon as I mess with it, I'll get this deafeningly loud "Wooing" noise. I'm no stranger to feedback, but this is just unbearable. It got to the point where I just gave up on it.

However, I'm feeling a little adventurous today. So I'm willing to try again. However, I value my hearing.

Any idea of what this is and/or how to fix it?

It's the screeching of the guitar gods, commanding you to buy a new and better amp.

Haha.

Seriously, I have no idea, but, if you're serious about fixing it, take it into a shop.

Will the guitar gods give me the money to buy one? 'Cause I'm broke <_<

oh man, that's the best title for a thread ever.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
