Just out of curiousity really.

What are some downright stupid-easy songs you play that always seem to make someone go "OMGZ U R WIN @GEETAR~"?

For me it's probably Blackbird by The Beatles or Spanish Romance (Romanza) by Anon (usually everyone freaks out when I do the vibratos. It's really not that tough but it gives a cool tone).

So what are some of yours?

Spanish Romance here too
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

-Matthew Arnold

Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Basically any pentatonic wanking, or any song that involves singing and playing; most non-guitarists seem to think you're god if you can sing and play

The ultimate classic: Wonderwall, by Oasis.
Is it a bad thing if one of your testicles is larger then the other two?

The only song I've truely experienced success like that with is singing and playing Green Day's American Idiot.

Literally three chords, and they're all power chords

I have trained a live tarantula to calm and sit on my guitar due to the awesome powers of my rocking. When I am not playing it angrily bounces about my room hitting everything that isn't me.

just get really indignant when they ask you to play. Get all up in thier faces and screem "I DON'T PLAY FOR YOU MAN! I PLAY FOR THE MUSIC! SCREW YOU GUYS, I'M AN ARTIST AND I DON'T NEED TO IMPRESS ANYBODY" and then they'll be all "wow..he must be really good."

+1 for john cage. Put your amp in a giant plastic bag and play it in your bath-tub and people will also be equally impressed.

Anything people wont really know. Then subtly hint that you wrote it yourself, and then you look awesome, and you never techincally lied to anyone.

Or novelty stuff, like the Super Mario Bros. Theme. As far as most people I know are concerned, its all I can play. 'Cept Pop Goes The Weasel.

Roses for the dead or streetcar by funeral for a friend, off the top of my head

They have lil tapping riffs that are fun to play and probably look good, but are really easy
Some people wait a lifetime, some simply accept...

...Some of us crash land, some of us eject...

...Some restore the blood flow, some just let it go and bleed...

...Some of us obsess, some move on to something new

Somebody found out my business. I i teach(aside from chords and fingering/picking exercises) this kid who only wants to learn guitar hero songs and Ax7.

Intro to Nothing else matters. Fade to black with and solo. Sandman. Any famous metallica song.
Some mark tremonti's riffs (wich are always cool and fun even if they dont know the song).
Santana's Put your lights out.

Idk what else, most of my friends are very very non-guitarist or anti-rock music so it all sounds like noise to them. They'll ask you to play "something" and will turn around not even half way through your repertoire. Too bad i cant play 50 cent! cause he cant either play his own shit.
