Hey guys. I just installed a d-sonic in the bridge of my explorer, and an evo in the neck. Now, the evo works fine with little hum and great sound. The d-sonic sounds pretty good too...but it's extremely noisy and makes the low c string sound really, well, chunky. Maybe I'm hearing what I'm supposed to for the first time, but I can literally hear the scratching of my pick pretty clearly when I play my drop tuned riffs. Is this normal? If not, what can I do to fix it?

My toilet has seen some scenes that one would describe as 'deathcore'

Sounds like the pickup might be a little high... Lower it and see if it makes any difference. Maybe some of the solder isn't super clean either.
