I've just been playing on my peavey rage 158, and I've noticed the sound on the clean channel is really crap. sounds like it's playing on the lead channel with minimum gain.

So is my speaker blown? Assuming it is, would it be covered by warranty? or would I have to pay to repair it?

Simple question, so lets keep it to simple answers

Oh and no, I haven't been pushing it. volume's never been past halfway, rarely about 2 or 3.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't get a manual. I just got an amp and receipt. And peavey's website said 2 years, but wasn't specific as to what it covered.

tough call, take it back to the shop you got it from.

Think I'm going to, the shop's in town though, so I'll have to get a ride up there at some point.

So anyone else know whether it's likely to be covered or not?
Oh and just a note - It's less than a year old. it's currently at 11 months.
