Anyone heard anything about these? Or had any experience playing them? They seem to be a good idea. Plus i could get one relatvily cheap off ebay.

Any help would be appreciated.

300w hybrid amp.....i dont know if marshall has discontinued them or not cause they are still on the marshall website, anyway, it has 4 channels, clean crunch od1 and od2....clean and crunch work as advertised, but the overdrive channels have extreme amounts of gain...lots of people bash it for being a ''nu metal'' amp....i didnt think it was so bad

They're OK, the gain on it can go pretty saturated, if you look up any recent live recordings of Motorhead, their guitarist uses Mode 4's.

In all honesty though, I'd go for a used JCM800 if you're wanting Marshall.
Funny words.

IMO its just an overpriced marshall SS amp, you could get a half decent JCM head or a peavey for that kinda price.
