Just bought an Audio Technica AT202.. got it hooked up through the toneport ux2 into garageband.. but theres no signal coming from the mic.. audio inputs are set to the toneport, phantom power light is on but still nothing.

Is there no signal coming from the mic, or are you just not hearing it? Make sure you have input monitoring/echo/through turned on in Garage Band. If that doesn't help, post again.

Still nothing.. the levels dont even move. could it just be the mic? because i get guitar signal.

Mic - XLR mic cable - input 1 on UX2 - input and output knob or gain turned on on top of UX2 - USB connected to PC and green light should be on on the UX2.

In your program you need to set the input and output as well as set the input and output in your control panel, you should set the UX2 to the default for recording and playback.

also plug either monitors into the back of the UX2 or plug in some headphones and turn up the knob.

lastly, set the input to the mic port you are using in GearBox.
