Monster cables are really good and affordable. But there are better. I remember one time i was buying guitar cables from guitar center and the guy told me that there was a hands down number 1 cable. I fogot what it was called so you should go to a guitar store and ask. If its too expensive, stick with monster. (also are the best tv cables)

Well you can fix the guitar part by bringing the end around from the back of the guitar through your strap then plug it in, it kinda locks in between the strap and guitar that way. I can't help you with the pedal part. Maybe a longer cable?
