Hwy One Strat HSS

SH-5 Duncan Custom (bridge humbucker)
SCR-1 Cool Rails (middle)
SHR-1 Hot Rails (neck)

A moderate output in between two high output pickups...would this work well?

Sounds like the sex to me.

You could get $1000 custom made pickups hand wired with Eric Johnsons pubic hair, and they'd still sound pretty bad through a ****ty solid state practice amp.

What music do you play?

I'm not really a big fan of the single coil sized rail humbuckers.

For the humbucker, I'd suggest getting a custom-wound one from www.highorderpickups.com for $70; far better value and quality than your normal off the shelf pickup.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.
