I recently bought a 1996 korean squier telecaster. I paid £150 for it (which I am happy with) but when i have been checking to see how much it is worth i have got everything from £70 to £300. Can anyone help. I am very curious.
I paid £50 for a Chinese made 97 Tele. Is your one a standard series or an affinity series? Whatever the case, I don't think the price would appreciate that much (£300) in 10 years, if at all. Depending on the condition and model, £150 may be a fair price, or a tad steep, but if you're happy then cool. I love my Tele.
I'd say good deal, cause Korean quality is pretty good. That squier is probably better than the modern squiers anyway
How can i tell if it is a standard or affinity?
It should say affinity on the headstock 'nose' ...
I take it if there is no affinity then it is a standard.
