ok I've been trying for weeks to get a decent tune out but when I'm switching notes etc I find it difficult. Is there any techniques etc I could use etc?

I then turned round and said to him "you need tic tac for you bad breath".

One day I'll be able to play my accoustic and electric guitar at the same time but not today.

Yes, have you heard of scales? Look up some lessons on youtube. Try the A minor pentatonic and Chromatic scales. They are good for getting the fingers moving quickly.

I dont get what you mean, are u having trouble reaching the right notes? or like you need help getting your speed up to hit notes at the right time?

I agree with what Fight The Foo! said. Also if you're going to practise those scales properly you will need a metronome of some sort so that you'll be playing in time. Try looking in the lesson section here on UG as well as YouTube as there are some useful lessons.
