I have a Jackson DXMG with a floyd. When I crank the bar back all the way my strings hit the 24th fret and it kills the screamy goodness. The action is low (Jackson, durr), but the bridge is perfectly balanced and my neck is straight.

Is this normal/What could I do to fix it?

I would have though to just raise the action slightly, there is always the chance that your routed recess for the floyd is too deep, I'm not too sure.

Thanks for the replies -- I'll have to play with the action so it's still sits comfortably low but doesn't catch the fret.
