I'm going to go try out some amps today. Any suggestions on things to play to test the full range of an amp's capabilities and sound?

I tend to think of one thing that's gonna need a good clean sound, one with a slightly overdriven sound and something that, for example, needs different harmonics. Just think of a couple of pieces with different tones....

Play Fade To Black or Cemetary Gates. They both have pretty much all of that.

I opened my eyes and found my mother standing next to me with my sheets in one hand and the other hand over her eyes. She said, "Why are you naked!" and i quickly tried to come up with an answer, but all i could get out was, "Feels good man."
