So yeah, the headstock of my Epiphone LP snapped off!! I mean come on, a three foot drop, hardly gunna dent the motherfucker usually!! Worst thing was is it was in band practice, so we had to cut it short by like, two ours. Now I'm just sitting here regretting not buying straplocks. Anybody got any similar stories?

I use the rubber things off the tops of bottles of Grolsch.
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

For me, the 60's ended that day in 1978...

Willies. Fuck the lick and fuck you too.

I sew my strap shut after I put it on my guitar. Strap-locks are garbage. Real men sew their straps.

sentimental value?
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Real men don't sew

But that sucks about your guitar man...

With a needle and thread? It isn't that hard. Just sew the hole closed as much as possible. It won't come off now.

Serves you right for not looking after your instruments properly if you ask me. A warped neck or something is one thing, but snapping off the headstock? Are you ****ing serious?

Dude, I'm his singer, I was there (thats my hand holding the headstock in the pics), he looks after this motherlicker like it is his fu cking baby! He wasn't even jumping about he was standing normally when the neck went down and knocked against the floor and the headstock came clean off. Shoddy quality from Epiphone I reckon. I'm really surprised as I own an Epiphone SG which has taken many more beatings than his.

It looks as if it is fixable dude, i've seen worse so take it to a luthier see if he thinks it can be done otherwise buy a replacement neck, LP necks are pretty easy to find replacements for seeming they snap sh*t ez

Dude I got these strings the other day that couldn't be tuned to higher than 4 octaves below middle C then I realized that they were shoelaces and they weren't making any sound at all.

Exactly, the guys at my local store fix broken necks/headstocks all the time and they turn out good as new. It's been said that the glued part is actually stronger than the rest of the neck.

Lucky, my brother snapped my head stock by accident and now I have a not so pleasant crack thing where it was glued back together if you look closely...

Edit ^ Yeh, that;s what I was told.
