On the bridge of my guitar theres little metal things that stick up. I do alot of palm muting and like to have my hand back in that position to get a heavier mute.
How would I go about making these spiky things less sharp?
(they are located where the strings are airbourne)

It's already gone through one layer of skin after a few hours practice and if I keep going I'll have a nice blister.

If you look at this picture you will understand. ( you can't see where its worn through the skin very well )

They are little threaded screw-type things

Any possible solutions?

No- those adjust your action. You just have to get used to it, or get a guitar with a tune-o-matic style bridge.
