Hi
I am thinking of getting a Laney GH50L, but there is one problem. It is only a single channel amp. So I have decided to get a rack mont tube preamp, probably a Randall RM4.
Is it possible to bypass the Randall if it is going into the preamp in on the back of the Laney so i can use the Laney's preamp by foot switch?

Thanks,
Drac

you could have a splitter that goes
laney
Guitar-
preamp>laney return fx loop

See what i mean? you're eithr going to the preamp, or the laney.

Thanks heaps dude, but wont having the preamp go into the effects return interfere with the signal from the Laney preamp?

im really notsure.
I guess you could get 2 ab's going on, and then ab your effects loop, because i'd assume that you'll actually want to use it for effects too.
so your first ab would go like
guitar-ab box setting b-preamp-ab setting b-fx loop
2nd would be
guitar-ab box setting a-laney
But you'd have to hit your 2nd ab box to setting A
or soemthing like that.
Im confusing myself.
