Hi UG community i have this small dilemma. MY first guitar choice. I've been to the shop to swap 4 times already and i would like to ask for some help. This are cheap guitars i know.....
I currently have a Epiphone Les Paul Junior but am not sure about the single humbucker. I like to play metallica but sometimes even some brit rock etc.

My choices:

I'd stop worrying about it and concentrate on learning to play. Your first guitar doesn't really matter all that much, as long as it's not a complete piece of crap you're fine.

You're right, just about the only thing better than a Spider 3 is an MG : )

Stick with the LP for now, your sound isn't imporant until you start gigging.
Also, its 'Smoke On the Water', not 'Fire On the Water'. :P
