My friend just bought a Fender Squier series from a pawn shop. It doesn't sound too bad but I wanted to know what type of wood the body is made from. Guitar Dater Project says:

Your guitar was made at the
Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico
in the Year(s): 1994 - 1995

The headstock looks exactly like this:

Im thinking itll be Alder or Basswood, maybe Agathis. Those are some of the cheapest woods, and probably what would be used then.
