It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.

It's missing the level knob. A damn useful item on the DMM, IMHO.

I'd like to hear it, though. If it's close, it's a great deal.

o btw, BBD is digital, but theres nothing wrong with digital delays. delays are one of the few effects that digital is a very nice cheap alternative to analog version of that effect.

How can they claim it's all analog if it's not?

Thats what i asked when EC told me it was all digital.

still if its a good pedal and the bypass is good (which ive heard MXR's isnt the best) no reason why i wouldnt buy it

it's kinda like saying hardwire bypass and stuff. market strategy. working their way around it. all-tube signal path is the same too. solid state rectifier exists, but rectifiers aren't in the signal path of an amp.

i bet the bypass is pretty damn shabby. doubt they'll change so much apart from their lineup.

because all this time i was led to believe otherwise and im very confused
#17
when mine comes in, I'll let you guys know how it sounds! I'm really excited since it was designed by the same man that did the Way Huge Aqua Puss.

Well I have two MXR Pedals and between the two of them I've only noticed minimal tone loss if any. I'll be able to try one out the first day it gets in anyway and I'll try to provide a full report.

I'm just curious about it. I have a hankering for an analog delay atm.
I'll get the DMM eventually, but this one is a cheaper alternative for now.

BBD chips are analog. I haven't seen a schematic of this particular pedal, but if it uses BBD chips it's going to be analog. Hopefully they've sourced or are making some better chips than the crap that passes for a BBD these days
Though, if it really was designed by Mr. Huge I'd be inclined to believe he got it right, he certainly revived the Hendrix FF pretty effectively.
