"I Am The Wooden Doors" - Agalloch

Edit: Oh, sorry, I thought you meant heavy songs that go into acoustic songs. My bad.

The Sleep - Pantera, with the acoustic intro, that helps and the riffs are able to be transferred to an acoustic. The solo is wonderful, you'll just have to change the floyd rose dives.

Or, Sanitarium - Metallica. That would go very well, the quiet first half is perfect on an acoustic - make sure you have a cutaway to deal with the solos (the same goes for the first song). The ending riffs could be altered to work on an acoustic.

yea man, who ever doesnt like pantera or think they suck doesnt like metal, end of discussion, they changed the freakin world n made history, so don't be sayin they suck, have respect, same goes for machine head n lamb of god cuz their good too

Or She-Wolf. Both songs are great on acoustic, and neither of them are too hard.

Fade to Black - Metallica
Hollow - Pantera
Repentance - Dream Theater (If you have an audience with a large attention span.)

Just some other suggestions.

Thrice has done acoustic versions of most of the songs on The Artist in the Ambulance, and they all work very well that way. Stare at the Sun, Under a Killing Moon, and the title track make particularly good acoustic versions in my opinion.

I Cum Blood of course.

As for serious suggestions: Sweet Leaf by ... do I really need to tell you?

see the thing is im not doing EXACT covers of these songs, im adapting them. most aenima i made up parts to to compensate for lack of drums and overdrive and bass

and bulls on parade is in the process of being redone

i was thinking tripping on a hole in a paper heart would go over well too
