It's something I just remembered when I looked at the moon now. (EST it's 7:50 pm)

I remember maybe a year or 2 ago, I was leaving this place, and was in a dark road just crossing the street. Not many lights in that particular area. There were no clouds in the sky, and I could see stars and the moon. I looked up at the moon, and there was a huge ring around it. It was too perfect to be a cloud, and it didn't even look like a cloud. It was strange as heck. I thought I was going bonkers, so I told my friend and he saw it too. There was a huge ring in the sky, and the moon was in the middle. At this time, it was about 9:50 pm. I called my friend later, it was around 1 am, and I told her to look at the sky to see if she sees anything weird, and she saw it too.

I think its something to do with light refracting in the atmostphere or something. I cant remember, I did it in GCSE Astronomy like 4/5 years ago

There's a lunar eclipse next wednesday. just so you know.

Do you need to be in a certain place to see that? I don't remember anything about eclipses but I want to see one.

This post is correct.

The way the reflected light hits the Earth will do that occasionally.

So I got lucky?

No, if you had gotten lucky when you called your friend at 1 in the morning she would've offered herself to you.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

Well, it was hard for me, I took it a year before everyone else, in year 9, and it was only a year course.

But it was very cool. One of my favourite lessons I had. If your into astronomy I'd suggest you take it if you can

You combine classwork with fieldwork. Our class (only had about 8 students) and our 2 teachers (who were doing the course for free), regularly went onto the moors at night to do observations.

It was amazing. We borrowed a very cool telescope, and looked at jupiter, and it was amazing how clear and big it looked. You could see the planet, the rings, its details. Everything.

So yea, a very cool course.

it wont look like a solar eclipse which is the cool looking one your thinking of. only half the earth can see a lunar one so you do have to be in a certain place but not a really specific one like youd have to be at to see a solar ecilpse

So the lunar ones don't look cool then? I only remember what a solar looks like.
